What inspires you?

Lots of stuff. I always felt attracted by darkness and light. Things that have their own secret lives.
Do you look throught the camera and try diffrent things until you see the right thing or do you know how you want it to look so you plan everything just by thinking about it, and shoot?

Sometimes I come up with new ideas while installing. I will also play with the light. Although I must admit that I have a pretty decent idea of what I want from the beginning in my personal work. This ideas develop over time. So my ideas and I have spent quite some time together before I put my camera in my hands.
I saw some pictures of gas stations which have this uncomfortable feeling. Is there a specific meaning for you in gas stations?

It's just an image. If you feel uncomfortable by observing it, it's very likely that you have a depression. But maybe it's more severe and you should see an therapist.

Secondly, as many of us know the world is ruled by penguins since 1945. After observing us for nearly 90 years they decided that some of us simply went too crazy and formed a secret society in order to steer the world from behind. There are many gas stations that have a blue door on the backside. This blue doors are the entry ports into the penguin world.
